Town twinning
Ingelheim am Rhein maintains lively twinning arrangements with six European towns.:
Autun (Frankreich) seit 1963
Stevenage (England) seit 1963
San Pietro in Cariano (Italien) seit 1984
Berlin-Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg seit 1971
Limbach – Oberfrohna/Sachsen seit 1990
Neisse (Polen) seit 2002
The registered association responsible for town twinning has set itself the following goals::
- to cultivate and deepen long standing friendships
- to arrange new contacts
- to support youth and sports meetings
- to arrange work placements
- to bring exhibitions and concerts from the twin towns to Ingelheim
- to look after guests from the twin towns
- to keep informed about the twin towns
- to be good and reliable partners
