Business Development

Since 1st January 2001 the business development section of Ingelheim am Rhein has been established as an administrative department under the control of the Mayor, Dr. Joachim Gerhard. The work of the department is done by two members of staff.

At the forefront of the work is maintaining liaison and support of local firms and the marketing of the location itself. The acquisition of new firms, the funding of the infrastructure and the strengthening of the town as a shopping and tourist centre are further important tasks.
